Product Information
CRC Gasket Remover is a high-performance non-chlorinated solvent cleaner formulated for the effective removal of gasket residues, sealants, adhesives, and carbon deposits from metal engine components and mechanical assemblies. The product contains a blend of powerful penetrating solvents designed to soften and dissolve hardened gasket materials and adhesive compounds without damaging the underlying metal surfaces.
This gasket stripper is engineered with strong penetration capability and controlled evaporation characteristics that allow the solvent to remain active long enough to break down stubborn deposits. The thixotropic formulation clings to vertical and overhead surfaces, ensuring effective cleaning of fixed equipment parts and complex component geometries.
CRC Gasket Remover helps prevent surface damage often caused by excessive scraping during gasket removal. By softening gasket materials, the cleaner allows residues to be removed easily using brushes, cloths, or scraping tools while minimizing the risk of damaging precision surfaces.
Typical applications include removal of gasket residues from cylinder heads, crankcases, water pump flanges, gearboxes, and other engine components. The product can also dissolve carbon deposits from valve seats and combustion components, as well as remove mastics, sealants, putties, and adhesive residues.
CRC Gasket Remover is widely used in automotive maintenance, engine rebuilding, industrial equipment servicing, and mechanical repair operations where efficient gasket removal and surface preparation are required.
