MOLYKOTE® 33 Medium Extreme Low Temperature Grease is a silicone-based lubricant designed for precision components operating across a wide temperature range, particularly in extreme low-temperature environments. The grease is formulated with silicone oil and lithium soap thickener to provide stable lubrication, excellent oxidation resistance, and reliable performance in light-load mechanical systems.
This lubricant delivers exceptional low-temperature torque performance, allowing equipment to start and operate smoothly even in sub-zero environments. The grease maintains consistent viscosity and lubrication characteristics at temperatures as low as −73°C, while also providing stable performance at elevated temperatures up to 180°C. Its water resistance and compatibility with many plastics make it suitable for sensitive equipment and mixed-material assemblies.
MOLYKOTE 33 Medium Grease is commonly used in precision equipment where metal-to-metal or metal-to-plastic friction occurs at low to high rotational speeds. Typical applications include roller and conveyor systems, control cables, electric motors, optical and photographic equipment, and measurement instruments. The grease is also widely used in refrigeration and freezer equipment where conventional lubricants may fail due to extremely low operating temperatures.
