MOLYKOTE® 55 O-Ring Grease is a high-performance silicone-based lubricant developed for lubrication and sealing of rubber O-rings and elastomer seals used in pneumatic, automotive, and industrial systems. The grease is formulated with silicone oil, ester additives, and lithium soap thickener to provide stable lubrication, oxidation resistance, and long service life under varying operating conditions.
This specialized lubricant improves sealing performance by slightly swelling rubber O-rings and elastomer seals, helping maintain tight sealing surfaces between rubber and metal components. The grease provides excellent corrosion protection and oxidation resistance while maintaining lubrication properties over a wide temperature range.
MOLYKOTE 55 O-Ring Grease is commonly used for lubrication between rubber and metal surfaces in pneumatic equipment, automotive assemblies, and aircraft systems.
