CRC Brakleen® Brake Parts Cleaner is a high-performance solvent-based degreaser formulated for rapid cleaning of brake systems, clutch components, and mechanical parts. The cleaner contains multiple active cleaning agents that effectively dissolve and remove oil, grease, brake fluid, traffic dirt, and hardened deposits from metal surfaces.
This automotive cleaning spray is designed to evaporate quickly after application, leaving no residue on cleaned surfaces. The fast evaporation rate minimizes downtime during maintenance and repair operations, allowing components to be returned to service quickly. The cleaner also helps reduce disc-brake squeal and clutch chatter by removing contaminants that affect braking performance.
CRC Brakleen is safe for use on most metal surfaces and does not cause staining or corrosion. The formulation is also compatible with many rubbers, plastics, and coatings, although testing on sensitive materials is recommended before full application. The aerosol version features a 360° spray valve, allowing application in upright or inverted positions for convenient access to difficult-to-reach areas.
